Each year during the regular Tennessee Environmental Conference, 4th & 5th  grade classes from the local area participate in the Children's Environmental Conference.

Bays Mountain Park & Planetarium in partnership with the Tennessee Environmental Conference provides the opportunity for students to learn about the environment and ways they can help "Improve Our Environment & Public Health through Smart Choices."                                 

This year over 100 students will participate in programs at Bays Mountain Park & Planetarium over the course of the two-day conference.
