NOW SOLICITING POSTERS!
As an alternative to presentations or simply to provide information for those who want to get their project or accomplishment recognition, the 2009 East Tennessee Environmental Conference is offering a limited number (20) of space to display posters at this year's conference. These posters will be displayed on the walls in the aisle separating the breakout sessions rooms of the Grand Ballroom in the Meadowview Conference Resort and Convention Center.
Guidelines
Posters will be displayed on a wall using magnets for mounting. Posters should be one-piece no larger than 3 feet high by 5 feet wide. It is recommended that posters are laminated or printed on canvas. The poster should be readable from a distance of at least 5 feet.
Posters should include an Abstract of no more than 500 words, an introduction of about the same length a summary of methods, a results section and a discussion/conclusions section. Keep tables, figures, graphs and pictures in chronological order as much as possible.
Presenters are expected to be at the poster to answer questions and discuss their poster with interested parties during the designated time period.
